"Great food and great service. This was our first time in Blowing Rock, and the first restaurant we went to. It was busy, but the food came out quick. I was honestly surprised at how great the Cuban sandwich was. Our waitress, Savannah, was super friendly and gave helpful recommendations on the menu. I highly recommend!"

"My husband and I ate here for lunch on a foggy day while enjoying the downtown area. We had excellent service with a very friendly server named Matthew, he was super friendly and had great recommendations. I ordered blackened trout with Gouda grits, so yummy! My husband had the cilantro marinated trout with roasted potatoes, also amazingly delicious. We shared the apple crisp cheesecake to finish a perfect meal. We both said we would come back the next time we come to visit"

"Ambiance was decent and wait staff was good. Other than that nothing else I can say positively bout this placeOur meals were luke warm, blend and some of the sides had no taste to them whatsoever. While they have a bar and there own cocktails if you ask for something not on the menu, u probably wont get it. And yes, unfortunately even the cocktail drinks we did order tasted horrible. Bad bar staff..On top of all this, it took them almost an hour for them to bring our food out. Two kids meals, a chicken plate and crab cakes. I was very upset to say the least.Stay away. Go to Perry's Steakhouse next door. Exceptional food, service and bar area."

"Perfect lunch spot nice large patio. Staff is attentive and food is delicious. Definitely the kind of place to have a leisurely meal. If you’re in the mood for a hearty lunch go with the Shepherd Pie. It’s really good. Their BLT is pretty perfect as well."

"The porch attached to Rowland’s is the perfect place to soak up the mountains at sunset with a cocktail! We went just for drinks so can’t speak to the food, but the cocktails are fantastic and service is great. Grab a cocktail menu at the bar on your way in and then head outside to the porch. Cocktails are pricey $16) but it’s worth it for the peaceful surroundings and a great drink."

"One of our favorites in Blowing Rock. The service here is always stellar and open, the males over the years were interesting, entertaining, pleasant culinary companions. I love that this is a place for all ages you see, because most are holidaymakers except the strong group of locals who regularly dinate there. This recent visit was a Friday night and the place was busy but not muded. Started with oysters Rockefeller who were tasty, but the oysters were tiny, lucky to draw. Next were garden salads coming with the ducks. Your blue cheese dress is stellar and the salad ingredients very fresh. I had the slowly braided beef short ribs that are enough to feed two. They are super tasty and very delicate. Husband had the New Zealand tack of the Lamb, which was perfectly cooked and quickly constricted to the bone. The beginners come with new potatoes and the choice of sides. I did asparagus and man did the filled zucchini and both were good. Always a nice selection of wine and good pouring for cocktails and such, but the bar tends to be secured with seating for dinner."

"Finally gave this place a try. Food was really good. They have a very extensive menu. Some reviewers complain of items not being available but we didn?t have issues. The restaurant was crowded and we had to wait 5 minutes for a table but these days I think that is pretty good given labor shortages. We had summer rolls to start that were really good sauce has a kick. I had green curry w tofu and veggies. The boss had pad Thai and the boy crushed some sushi. We got a dessert to go and the waitress added ice in the to go container to keep the ice cream (nice touch). They have portable credit card machines to pay at the table. Super easy. Good stuff. Definitely be back in person take out. ?"
