"I've loved going to Sapori for well over a decade: birthdays, anniversaries, baptisms, holiday events and just to help them get through covid by ordering takeout (I live over an hour away now . Last night was an anniversary dinner for my wife and I and we really looked forward to the meal. The hostess wasn't terribly welcoming (certainly no Ricardo or Vince! and lied to us about not being able to seat us in the room behind the bar (a quieter room with only about 7 tables or so . She said they weren't going to use it, but even though there was plenty of open seating throughout the restaurant and outside, all the tables in that room were filled before we left except for one. We had even requested it when we made our reservation, so that was...disheartening a bit. Ricardo wouldn't have done that. Anyway, we ordered an appetizer (charcoal grilled calamari I believe it's called not cheap but great , three entrees (so that we could have leftovers and the bread pudding (a must have . The food was great as always, though the diced squash was a bit undercooked. They've added a dollop of ice cream on the side to the bread pudding which is great. All in all, a very good meal, though missing on the some of the warmth we've come to expect."

"Being my first visit to Ruth's Chicago location, I was hoping to be surprised. If anything, it was consistent with the other Ruth's Chris' around the world The wine menu was heavily laden with top end expensive wines while lacking in the lower end name recognizing brands. The Shrimp Cocktail while "good" seemed to be light in terms of the number of shrimp compared to most other restaurants serving the usual five. The Potato Leek Soup was good and the Lettuce Wedge while generous, needed additional Island Dressing. The Filet (while wanting the smaller was served the larger) looked more like a Ribeye than the traditional "Filet". Flavor was "ok". The Blackened Scallops while not defined as Blackened in the menu and seemed to come prepared in the way the chef wanted to prepare them. Disappointing and should have been more defined as a "special". The Shoestring Potatoes while generous were more like grated potatoes very thin shoestrings. Lastly, the Duo of Chocolate cake was slightly over done and more like a chocolate cake than a molten dessert cake. While good in taste, it was not what was expected Service by our waiter, Jordan, was very good. Attentive and ensuring that the guest doesn't need anything. Water glasses were constantly filled If you are looking for a steak place that is consistent from location to location, Ruth's Chris is your McDonald's of the steak world"

"We had to wait 45 minutes for our food. The order was wrong. My husband ordered a burger medium and he got it well. I asked for dressing on the side. It came with dressing on the salad. The manager was friendly and cared for the matter."

"We booked a reservation to this restaurant for our family. We planned to eat our dinner here. We entered this restaurant and the waiter assisted us at our table. They even greet us. They gave us the menu and gave us time to choose what to order. When we said to him what we ordered he left in a nice way. While waiting we called some waiters to take some photos. We thanked him after that. After 20 minutes our order came. It took so long to camw our order since we ordered a lot.Their food was really great and yummy. It came in good plating. The price of it was expensive but worth the price. The staff was great and nice. We will definitely be back here again. We enjoy having it here."
