"A really friendly owner who was really willing to help us as a vegan. they have a dedicated vegan menu and also on a Sunday offer a vegan roast that was rooted and squash wellington. love it! they have a meal with a vegan sausage, kartoffeln and veg for our small child, as they don't have a vegan children's menu, but they have really heard our feedback and ready to add more. try them if they were the opposite as we were, as there are not many vegan options in yarmouth. ps. most gloomy including the crumb, chocolate cake and cheesecake are all vegan! (if ordered with vegan ice cream their custard vegan anyway"

"Excellent find, stopped here for breakfast on 13th September. Very friendly owner, brilliant service great COVID systems in place too. Brilliant breakfasts very impressed. Would definitely return should I be in the area. Highly recommend."

"I had only been to the swan once before shortly after it opened and I really enjoyed the food so my other half, my mum and I went for my early birthday celebrations. It was uncomfortably hot in the restaurant and we were squished into a corner which didn't help. We all had crab claws to start with which were perfection but we only got 3 each, the portion was really small even for a starter would of liked double that. For main my partner and I had monkfish wrapped in pancetta with thai curry and rice and my mum had lobster. Again, tasted lovely but my partner and I agreed the portion size was small. My mum's was portioned fine, we ended up stealing some of her chips as she doesn't eat a lot haha. The desserts were not great, the white chocolate cheesecake my partner had was not a cheesecake, more like mouse. I got 3 slices of a chocolate brownie, the brownie was nice but where was the rest? We shared the jammie dodger blonde, I was looking forward to that most but it was really dry. There was nothing served with them i.e. cream or ice cream. I'll happily pay for good food but also value for money is important, for example the desserts were £7.50 each. I don't think any of us will be returning."
