"I’ve passed by here so many times, stopped for the first time Sunday. The fresh baked fragrance hits you before you even get to the door, the pie and muffins I got tasted even better then they aromas you smell. Will not pass by any more, it’s a must stop now!"

"Very disappointed, stopped in here before it temporarily closed and the food and atmosphere was great. Went with a group of 8 last night and possibly had the worst food I have ever had at a restaurant. The appetizers were small servings and had next to no flavor. My wife ordered the filet medium and it came out well done and the baked potato was not fully cooked. When she told the waitress that the steak was over cooked she said, “Sometimes they forget about the steak when there is a large order”. There were about 8 other people in the restaurant at the time. My Cajun pasta tasted like Kraft macaroni and cheese with dried out chicken and sausage added in, no spice what so ever. Extremely overpriced for low quality food, we would have been better off going to Applebees. We will never go back, avoid and hope something better moves into a prime location after this fails."

"I have been to Luk's a few times over the years. The word I would use is inconsistent. Today's meal was just plain awful. I had the Smash Burger. The description of the dish is just plain wrong. A smash burger is made using about 2-4 oz of meat in the shape of a meatball. When it hits the flattop, you smash it paper thin. The burger when you put the cheese on has nooks and crannies for it to melt into. What I received was a perfectly shape patty. Something closer to a child's burger that had the texture of a hockey puck. My wife had the Swiss Mushroom Burger. She asked for medium and received medium well, there were few mushrooms (if any) on the burger, and our fries were cold. Upon further inspection of our burgers, we realized that they were frozen and not fresh which would explain why they had the consistency of a brick. I would avoid the burgers on their menu at all cost."

"What a great place to eat! The cook has a special appetizer of stuffed banana whips that is excellent! I tried the shrimp alfredo and that was also very good. Her red sauce is fresh and tasty, my daughter had it over her ravioli. Our server was attentive and showed us the choice of wine. We want to come back soon and join our anniversary party. This place is a little jewel in Hudson."
