"We were looking forward to coming here for a birthday dinner. We sat down and the server came out asking what we wanted to drink. We all said water and we waited 5 minutes and another server comes and asks the same thing. So we said we wanted wateragain and they got that after. We had asked politely if our table could be wiped down and they said they would, we waited 10minutes and asked another person and they still didn?t. Did I mention that this is 20 minutes later and we hadn?t ordered yet?Unfortunately the service we got was so bad that we had to walk out after wasting 30 minutes sitting at a dirty table starving.Won?t be back ???? very disappointed"

"Sunset Organic Bistro came highly recommended by our Airbnb Host. We ordered Clams and Mussels which was fresh and cooked to perfection with an earthy tone broth, next was Beet's Salad with all ingredients which felt like they we're just hand picked and nice vinaigrette and finally complimented with Pork Belly Korean BBQ, shredded cabbage, fried egg, Go Chu Jang. It's funny I'm from Australia and growing up there we are very spoilt by our carnivorous selections, Pork Belly is usually served in inch squared cuts with marinated flesh and crispy crackled skin, what we were served is commonly consumed as pork rib chops. I love Pork and can't get enough of this and perform the dishes at home, Pork Belly takes 24-48 hrs to prep for perfect crackle and marinated flesh and only 60 minutes to bake. Pork rib chops, marinated 2 hrs and grilled, BBQ, or pan fry 15 minutes tops. Well disappointed about the pork chops, but did love the Korean Charred BBQ marinate, fried egg and Go Chu Jang sauce. Ambiance was flawless, Sunset awesome, views of Okanagan Lake/Kelowna City breathtaking, staff impeccable and friendly with great knowledge of pairing wines with meals (which I don't). All in all great dining and ambiance, up."

"From the last five visits: either I or someone at the table had to send their dinner back as badly prepared. they sent back their badly mixed drink. you got food poisoning and was sick when she left the restaurant. The...Keg has been on a downwards slide for months and it seems time to replace the chef and probably some other in the kitchen. the waiting staff is excellent. the dinners that were sent back were not, but they must be very expensive for the restaurant. it's probably a very long time before I get back."

"We went to the Pita Pit for our first time last night, and we're really impressed. With the word "Pit" in the title I thought the food would be the same old cheap quality food as most fast food...but it wasn't!The smoothies used real fruit, had no sugar added and were delicious! (We had mango spinach...even the kids!) And the food was good too. No recommendations, we had 5 different things and all were good. One of the best things about this place was the staff working there. The guy at the cash register was incredibly friendly and helpful. I've never seen this kind of customer service in a fast food restaurant before! And all the staff were working really fast and were very nice too."

"My wife and I have been going to Basil Mint for two years and have had an amazing experience with every visit. Tonight was no exception. We visited to celebrate our anniversary and were immediately welcomed and congratulated. We were sat by the window as per my reservation and the service was impeccable. My wife is a fan of the roast chicken and it has never disappointed. I usually vary between the specials and again have never been disappointed. The flavors are always bold and the meat very juicy. My recommendation is their 16oz steak when it's one of their seasonal specials. Their menu selection is a little smaller but each item is mastered by the chefs. If you are looking for a restaurant for your special occasion, whatever it may be, or an evening to treat yourself to amazing cuisine I can't recommend this place any higher."
