"This used to be a nice place but has really went downhill. They specifically only cater to a small group of friends and regulars. The last time I tried making reservations with female bartender in charge, she told me they were not taking any reservations but when we came in , there were several spots reserved for other people and no spots for us, this same thing happened the next 2 times which was very upsetting so I asked bartender why and she told me she reserved spots for friends and regulars. We left without even finishing our drink and will never go back, it's easy to see why their business has been declining...."

"First let me start by saying I've found it EXTREMELY difficult to find a restaurant in Montreal that provides an American Thanksgiving meal during the American holiday, so big kudos to this restaurant for providing this option! Now in full disclosure this is my 2nd...annual trip to this restaurant for the holiday so obviously they must do a good job with the meal : But let me provide some details....I will start by giving another huge thanks as they opened their doors to us at 5pm to start, essentially squeezing us in prior to the restaurant officially opening at 5:30pm. While it was greatly appreciated that they were able to accommodate us (2 people , the drawback was the meal was very rushed as they were trying to get the table ready for the next reservation. Along with that, they were very rigid in not allowing you to choose a table for seating, but rather forcing you to sit in their pre assigned seats. In spite of being rushed, the wait staff was overall pleasant and talkative. The meal itself in general was good, in fact a little better than the meal from last year. It's a set 3 course menu with a soup (pumpkin squash soup , then the main course (turkey/stuffing combo, turkey confit, potatoes, string beans, cranberry sauce, cornbread , and dessert. The only critique of the meal was the dessert. It was supposed to be a pumpkin cheesecake decorated with something like cinnamon and sunflower seeds, but I can't really describe what it was (it didn't look like traditional pie and it honestly wasn't all that good. It was small, so there wasn't much of a waste after only eating 2 bites. We were there for an 1hr 10min from sit down to leaving, so that gives you an idea of how quickly the meal went. Aside from those minor points I appreciated the opportunity for this meal and if I am in Montreal for the next American Thanksgiving holiday, I will most likely be back at this restaurant, unless some other restaurants provide another option ;"
