"Had excellent meal there last night. Probably the best Spanish in the area. Great atmosphere and very good food. It’s excellent value. As a matter of interest, we paid €94 for four people with bottle of wine, four bottles of water and deserts for all of us. This compares with €79 last week at Miraflores for two people with mediocre meal."

"We visited this restaurant, a family of 3 including our 6 year old son, as we had passed by on a horse and carriage journey and the location looked really nice, overlooking Mijas. We got there for about 6.45 and were the only ones there. No surprise as we usually are due to eating early. We were greeted by the only waiter we could see, who could not have been more unwelcoming, verging on being annoyed to see us. At this point I checked trip advisor reviews (I should have checked before we went), and had my fears confirmed. He was about as unhelpful and surly as any person I have come across in any restaurant and when he disappeared to talk to his mate on a motorbike he was replaced by a dishevelled looking fella who was just as rude as the first one. We drank our drinks, which amounted to 16 euros for three soft drinks and a G&T not cheap, and got out as soon as we could. Please save yourself the trouble and give this a miss, it is not good!!!"
