"We have just enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at the Oasis Café at Hugglescote, with its fresh, modern decor. The staff were welcoming and efficient, where there was a great selection of delicious cakes to choose from along with our pot of tea and cappuccino coffee....A great place to meet with family and friends"

"I have come to this café many times before and never had too much of a problem however... this will be my last visit. After waiting 25 minutes in a line to order, I was asked to seat myself anywhere in the café. I 'd then waited another 60 minutes at the table I 'd sat at with none of my order to have still came. It was busy this day and with time to spare, I did not want to rush the staff. I went over to the desk to query when my order was coming, to which it had been figured that it had been taken to another table entirely. I 'd then asked if I could have my order to go in which they did not seem pleased to fulfill. I 'd waited another 10 minutes at the desk for my order as not wanting to seat myself again. Eventually, I requested a refund as my order still was not being prepared to which the response was 'No, It was not our mistake so we will not issue a refund '. Reluctantly, I waited... AGAIN and was finally (after 2 hours) handed a panini. I was so frustrated with the service that I had received that I sat outside in the freezing cold to eat my lunch as it was better than sitting in this café. Whilst spending an unseemly amount of time here on this day, I 'd noticed that many other customer 's were receiving similar service to myself. Not to mention the uncleanliness of the café itself as there were ants all over the floors. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend anyone to this café which is a shame as it has amazing businesses surrounding it to visit."

"Having visited previously for a lovely afternoon tea, we held a baby shower here on Sunday. The communication and organisation from our first enquiry to the event itself was excellent. The room allocated to the 24 of us was perfect and the team on the day did a great job keeping us well supplied with tea! All of the guests commented on how delicious the food was, particularly the home made cheesecake! Thanks again to the whole team looking forward to a return visit."

"I took my friend here for afternoon tea to celebrate her 30th birthday. The minute we walked in I knew it would be good as we were surrounded by home made cakes. I was not disappointed. Highly recommend here for afternoon tea. Amazing cakes, great sandwiches and all for a reasonable price. Even my friends dairy free afternoon tea was a delight!"

"We had here today for the first time in the afternoon and can honestly say it is one of the best we had! the torte and cream brûlée were amazing, but the sandwiches were something else that is cheese and the gurke are for dying! (the pickle is amazing! the personal was very attentive and always asked if we wanted to refill our teekanne. the place itself is beautiful and exceptionally clean everything in a 5* place where we will definitely return. a big ass!"

"Group of 25 visited tonight. Staff are so friendly and can't do enough . Atmosphere was amazing. 1980' s style restaurant which is lovely, don't change what does not need changing. Christmas dinner was amazing , and there was plenty if it. Inviting family next year. Would HIGHLY recommend. Family run business. Support local buisness's."
