"Beautiful small espresso house in gamla stan. great bullen, sandwiches and coffee. it has a toilet for customers, although it is a small restaurant, so it can be fairly crowded, so they get early if they want a table. a good place to go if you want a great tasting kanelbulle!"

"Well what a lovely stay we had, checked into the White Horse after visiting York, we were given the warmest welcome by John and Dawn. After we were settled into our lovely room Rose room) which was really comfortable and cosy, especially the super...king bed, we wondered down to the bar and restaurant for an evening meal. Again we were greeted by the friendly hosts and even the regulars made us feel welcome. Food was not a disappointment either yummy). Amazing nights sleep followed and then a great breakfast. Thanks again John and Dawn could not fault a thing."

"My Wife and I stopped in Hutton le Hole for an early lunch and chose The Forge as the menu suited us at that moment. We just could not have chosen a better cafe the food was simply delicious (we had a breakfast), beautifully cooked...and served, as for the quantity, more than sufficient. The cafe was spotlessly clean and well presented and the Owner obviously took great care and pride in making sure that customers left happy and satisfied. We are returning tomorrow as it is the last day of our holiday in North Yorkshire. Brilliant. Sarah and David Murgatroyd. Dorchester, Dorset"

"Immersed in the chance to get a table for an evening meal. the bar staff was very friendly and courteous and brought a bowl of water for our dog. we both ordered starters who were plentiful, hot of good quality, both had served the piece of the day (play) with chips veg, which was again plentiful, hot of good quality. would definitely recommend pre-book as was busy."

"A very nice selection of options at the evening and breakfast menu. around the choice for starter, main course and sweets in the evening as well as a special board with some additional options. the quality of eating and its presentation was excellent and we enjoyed. everything we ate. a good selection of local beers and spirits was available at the bar and the weeps we chose to drink were very good."

"We, along with our 2 great friends, have today(November 12) had a fabulous Sunday lunch at Cedarbarn. We all agreed that it was the best we have had. Beautiful meat(2xPork and 2xBeef) cooked to perfection and accompanied by plentiful vegetables. Great friendly staff. What more can we say….top drawer! This place deserves all its accolades.
