"My husband and I went with our friends on Saturday evening, table of 4 for dinner, celebrating a birthday. It was a last minute booking as the place our friends originally booked had to cancelled as the kitchen lost their gas. Our friends rebooked at the Three Horseshoes and we were all pleased they had done so The staff behind the bar were welcoming and friendly. Great customer service. The food was delicious and very good portion sizes. I had the gammon with egg, chips and peas, great flavour and well presented. We will definitely come back to visit again, especially to try out more of the menu. Thank you for fitting us in last minute! Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"It was in the run up to Christmas and we booked a table for 6. The place was busy, food was served tepid, bland and not as described on the menu. Our deserts were returned by several of the party for being not acceptable. Not somewhere to go during December as they were not set up to cater on the evening we went there. Service: 2 Location: 5"
