"We found this place by accident after there were no more taxis after getting off the train. We thought we would stop for dinner and get a taxi after. The food was delightful and the setting was great. Kids played in the park before dinner. Excellent value for money. Food was beautiful. Especially the mixed grill for 1. Cooked to perfection. We enjoyed so much we came back at the end of the holiday"

"Choose a table in the pretty garden if it's not too hot. The inside saloon is a bit stark by comparison. Generally good service and stick to the standard grilled steak or chicken options. They cook on a charcoal grill, so the meat can be a bit dry. My husband chose rabbit and it was overcooked very blackened. We loved the setting, not too pricey and food OK if you make the right choices. Only open in the evening."

"Thought this looked a fun place to try and tempted by everything being “XXL”. Drinks came quickly but so did the food. Enjoyable and tasty but everything also looks slightly pre made and not quality for sure. Had a cosmo very nice. Also enjoyed my salad. Fancied a dessert but didn’t get asked if I wanted one. Staff seemed largely disinterested and had to flag them down to get the bill. There’s definitely better places to eat. Capitalises on its location."

"The perfect place ! We went to The Roadhouse 2 time during our vacation. The food is awesome ! Fresh, well cooked and tasty. For the beer lovers, the Punk IPA is wonderful. The restaurant is nicely decorated, clean (sanitary included) and accessible by people with reduced mobility. But this place is not just about food. It’s also about really great people : the boss, his wife and the waiters who are organised, caring and available. Finally, the singer. Yes the singer or another person who makes this place perfect. Every night, he sings some famous or not pop and rock songs alone with his guitar. Thanks to all of you for those 2 wonderful evening of great food, fun people and good time !"
