"After a day of hiking through the nearby volcanic park my family and I were tired and hungry. There's not much to Santa Pau, but a local shopkeeper receooemded Can Rafelic as the place for a good meal an excellent recommendation as it turned...out. The fare is regional and hearty, and absolutely delicious. Two adults and three children shared fesols with pork (fesols are a white bean, and a local specialty), stuffed potato skins and manchego cheese to start, and followed up with a meat stew containing rabbit, chicken, pork and sausage that was simple and superb. The bill, including still and sparkling waters and a small carafe of rose came I intend to hike in this region again next year, and I will also return to Can Rafelic."
