"Mr. Okada, who runs this shop, is in charge of the vegan sweets for many other stores around Tokyo, including Futaba Fruits Parlor and Wired Bonbon Lumine Shinjuku. I've been a fan of his cakes since a previous shop he was running in Kamakura. I visited on a late Saturday afternoon and they had four kinds of cake slices for sale: strawberry vegan sponge cake, cheesecake, premium montblanc, and royal chocolate cake. Since payment will be cashless from June, the staff told me that you can pay with Suica if you don't have a credit card. They're starting online ordering with home delivery for whole cakes (along with the online ordering for in-store pickup that they already had). I chose slices of the first two options and they were nice, as is everything he makes. They have more choices for the order whole cakes including the strawberry chocolate sponge cake and strawberry smile sponge cake, which looks great for kids. They focus on great quality and I thought the price was very fair for what you get. I believe the slices started at 660 yen each. The staff is very friendly and the owner was clearly very passionate about vegan desserts. Updated from previous review on 2021-05-23"

"You must love Tofu to enjoy a place like this, but the options are overwhelming! I was in heaven. The atmosphere with dimming light, waterfall and semi-private seating make it as if it were crazy expensive, but the price is really affordable for any occasion. The place is a bit far from the station and hard to find (Google Maps does not show the right route, and I wish the desserts were vegan (the tofu cheesecake actually has cheese / milk in it... Why, Japan? "

"My husband and I got a set each and halved it so we could try both. We got the soy meat and burger sets- omg that soy meat set is Devine! It's a bit more than usual meals but in my opinion well worth it! The waiters seem a bit more sophisticated than we are used to and not that energetic but a lovely place to eat"

"I love their falefels and their pita bread has great texture. It looks as though the portion isn’t enough, but it is actually very satisfying! There aren’t much falafel places in Tokyo so I’m lucky I have this place in my neighborhood. They do takeouts too so you can call in advance or wait for it at the restaurant!"

"It’s a bit (maybe more than a bit, depending on your pockets) expensive, but that is expected, Ginza is not a cheap place too eat/shop. On the other side I thought it is very worth the taste of the food, the portions could be a little larger. I had this delicious maccha cheese cake and it was really thick and tasty. Also, it is almost impossible to go there for a meal without a reservation, while during the teatime there is almost no one but they don’t serve but sweets and drinks."

"This place... I order basically everything marked as vegetarian on the menu I literally did and I love every single bit of that food. Mind that fish based stock is used to prepare some of those “vegetarian” dishes. Not for all of them, though. Some are 100% vegetarian. As I’m not that strict, I decided to give a try to the dashi based dishes too and I don’t regret it. The Japanese rolled omelet with tofu inside (dashimaki tamago) was divine, probably the best one I’ve ever had. And so were the grilled gluten skewers. The vegetables (sweet potatoes, tomatoes, yam, pumpkin and potatoes) and okara tofu pulp salad was delicious too, same for the “melting in your mouth” tofu. The cheesecake was also great, very small though. All the drinks that I tried were delicious too, from the smoothies to the alcoholic ones. Prices are a bit high considering the size of the portions. But the food is so perfect that I would probably pay even the double to eat it."
