"We have been customers since it opened, but since the owners have not been in charge of customer service, rudeness has crept in- for instance, on our last visit a staff member openly complained about having to open the chiller to sell us some cake near the close of business! Unbelievable attitude! Then we were charged $5 for a piece of cake! there is no price list for cake or baked goods which is unacceptable. Very disappointing!"

"What a treat!! We heard about John’s and we were not disappointed. My husband found the steak and prawn beni delicious the steak was cooked perfectly. My pancake was the best I have ever tasted. Holy smokes their secret cream sauce that you pour over the pancake along with butter and syrup was out of this world. Will be our regular breakfast place when in the city."

"I stopped in for a late lunch with my two teenaged daughters the other day after hearing about Rebar from friends. My daughters were initially sketical as it looked "too healthy" but everyone agreed the food was delicious. I ordered wheatgrass and the "Yes Please Smoothie" which were excellent. Then we shared the 3 sisters enchiladas which were also delicious and very filling. The coffee was also amazing. Service was not an issue as other reviews have stated as we were seated right away and got our food fairly quickly. I am planning to buy the cook book so I can try some of their dishes myself."
