"I remember ordering a ratatouille with couscous dishes and feeling ecstatic and proud to treat myself to a chic dinner with a sea view. eating was worth it! "Food was good but service was VERY slow. Initial drinks took 15-20 minutes to get, soup appetizers came to the table at different times, and having been seated at 6:45 our dinner entre did not make it to the table till 8pm. We won't be back. Poor value for high prices when service out of the kitchen that slow!"

"The food was really very good. Sonny our sever was attentive and gave good advice on what to eat. We shared the shrimp cocktail which delicious. For our main we had salmon and crab cakes both where very good. To finish we shared the lava cake which was divine."

"We go a lot. we always loved this place. our last visit was quite empty. we had a great drink and a great server. the problem was that we went to dinner and didn't leave for 2 and half an hour as we had to wait for an hour and half for our food. the people were served who came after us. I'm glad we weren't in a hurry. our server had to go to the manager to finish our eating."

"I should have known when the elevator didn’t work and the main lighting in the parking lot was out that I shouldn’t have gone in. Decided to eat outside, even though it was cool and no heat lamps. Most other restaurants were prepared for cold snap. View is incredible. Ordered the stone crabs which were served uncracked but with a “nut cracker.” Any good stone crab restaurant either cracks them for you or they are served with a mallet (ask Joes in Miami). Made a mess , couldn’t open them properly and left in frustration. Oh well."

"Chart House has no peer. They invented 'happy hour ' the way it was meant to be...joyfully happy. On a late autumn afternoon/ early evening, the setting sun cast it 's warmth on every full patio table and inside, standing room only. People laughed in groups, greeted strangers who sauntered by, as each guest received the best service known to man. Our charming server was just a delight, doing double duty serving and bartending. Happily, the handsome chap with the red beard, sorry, I am sorid with names , but what a perfect chap. Warm, kind and friendly, his modest reply, I enjoy what I do, is a mantra that embodies the spirit of Chart House, Genesee. They all seem to love what they do. Oh, have I not mentioned the food? Call Michelin; give this place a few stars. The price-graduating menu is unique and delicious from truffle fries, firecracker shrimp and lettuce wraps, through awesome spreads, fish tacos, and kim che calamari. Finally, for a mere $12...3 of the most delicious prime rib ! sandwiches. Yes, tender and topped with an onion mixture. Amazing. All the food was absolutely flying out of the kitchen at a record pace. If you are still hungry, head into the main diningt room. That bill of fare is off the charts, stunning. It is all a throw back to when dining out was eventful and hospitality at a premium. Yes, at 82, I 'm not a novice. I 've traveled the world and beyond. Chart House, Genesee, will still be there when I turn 100, they promised me , and hopefully, so will the staff that served myself and my husband last night. Go soon; you 'll go often.n"
