"We enjoyed an absolutely amazing dining experience from the moment we were invited to take a seat in the lounge to leaving to the well wishes from at least three of the serving staff on our way out. The food was simply exceptional; really without fault from the locally sourced ingredients to generous, delightfully crafted and presented portions. At £55 for a three course menu, and with an excellent wine selection, this is one of the best meals out I have had in a very long time and all accompanied with excellent, unobtrusive and ever attentive service. I particularly enjoyed the lady who served my cheese course talk me through all of the very generously portioned varieties of cheese with enthusiasm and warmth. I would highly recommend the Overwater Hall Hotel restaurant, even if it did seem a little off the beaten track on a dark February evening. Wonderful!"
