"That was my first visit to Francos. Although I've never been to Italy, Franco's atmosphere gave me a little taste. When I arrived at Franco, a party of 1, the older gentleman who greeted me at the door asked if I had a reservation. I didn't, nor did I know I needed one. Instead of sending me away as I expected, he found me a small table and I could enjoy a nice meal. The service was excellent, and the food was amazing. I'll go back there"

"Tons of fun! We went the weekend before Halloween. They had a live band, dancing and great food. I?d never been! My friend invited me and people we dressed up and we had a blast. Everything was clean, the restrooms were perfect and inside was dark and inviting. The staff was very nice. The only downside was they closed pretty early."

"For six years in the valley of the sun, my wife and I have been looking for an Italian restaurant, preferably Northern Italy, especially a local atmosphere, traditional neighborhood, genuine authentic, moderately rustic, super tasty and an intimately comforting ristorant that can fit and evoke some of the best we have experienced in our gastronomic life experiences! I must say without a doubt, we found it in Adela's Italian cuisine! Hooray! We were found at different levels to what we found. First and foremost, the kitchen is exceptional! Pedro and Adela are proud of their amazing offers. Since our fave Italian in Alexandria, VA (see my review of Via Venetto) – we have not found anything that comes near exquisite Italian food in the Valley, especially Piedmontese, or Northern Italy! Our visit started with glasses of a smooth and wonderful Bellini Prosecco and Querceto Chianti. The garlic and oil infused house bread was delightful. Our appetizer of one of the best Fried Calamari ever; very delicate and slightly crispy overwürzt bread with an excellent arrabbiata sauce (arrabbiata means “angry”; the name of the sauce refers to the spice of chili pepper). Our main consisted of the Pollo Marconi of my wife: a thick, juicy and tasty chicken breast, with cut mushrooms, excellent boiled eggplant, cheese, ham covered in a smooth tomato marsala cream sauce. I had one of the lavish dishes, and best always yields of Vitello alla Sorrentino: a veal with chopped olives, diced mushrooms, bacon and mozzarella cheese covered in a delicious Marsala wine sauce. I was interested in getting the Tiramisu, but considering how full and satisfied we were, I agreed with my wife to order her Limoncello Mascarpone Cake – although not a fan of Limoncello, this cake filled with Limoncello Mascarpone cream was amazingly great! After enjoying these wonderful Viktuals, I finished the evening Adelas Caffe: a double espresso, with steamed milk, Bailey's Irish Cream and Frangelico an Italian hazelnut liqueur. Wow! Second, and amazing, the boss with over 30 years of Italian cooking experience Pedro, with his wife Ximena and daughter (the Delgado’s) began Adelas in 2014 are Mexican. Of course, it is like hitting the Italian cuisine jackpot enjoying their hospitality, kindness, affordable prices, cooking and ambience. Here is the best itâglia has to offer in the kitchen. Delgado’s have made their dream of having a great restaurant, but also given Italian gastronomy a part of their exceptional cooking genius. This is by far one of the most recommended meals in the valley of the sun that we can make. Adela’s, we have become new rules to your home. Grandi avventure! Bon appétit Ya’ll!"

"Hide more people! waiting for the check desk was long. no hallo of servers. no excuse when someone showed up. a server for the entire outside area?! the poor guy did his best and apologized. overhears a walk on request there was no availability then why not help their employees provide a good service? the food was good. chianti a little overpriced. a beautiful time with family fulfilled the waiting around the time."

"Visiting the area, we found this great choice through Open Table. The precise location was a bit challenging, but truly worth the effort. The great staff was welcoming and the food was wonderful."

"This was our first time at Avanti, and we were very impressed from the moment we walked through the front door. We were seated immediately and then ordered some drinks. The ambiance was pure New York and even had a piano bar nearby. After we were seated, the place began to fill up fast, (now I know why). I ordered the salmon and it was perfectly delicious moist and flavorful. Mom ordered shrimp (prawn) linguini and our out-of-town guest ordered crab-stuffed sole. We all started off with a Caesar salad, as well, and it was quite tasty. Everyone enjoyed their meals immensely, which was evident by the lack of conversation happening. We topped it off with a tiramisu for the table and some cappuccino. We are definitely coming back, so look out, Angelo! :D * HIGHLY RECOMMENDED *"
