"The view is really great. (If you really want to see the sunset you have to make sure you get a table towards the middle, as trees an brushes otherwise obstruct the view. The service felt somewhat pretentious. Somewhat formal but after a few minutes of neglect we were asked, whether we 'were ready '. I ordered a bottle of their cheapest Chianti from their list (as I was now already suspicious and didn 't mean to throw money at them and then having to take the wine to the room . Their reply was: That is our house wine, but it 's very good. . Needless to say, it wasn 't. But when a host talks about their wines like this lady, then I give up immediately. Sure enough the foods was bland. Pasta dishes were cold (either the huge plates were not pre-warmed or they had to wait for the sea bass. The filets looked like they came from a ready meal heated in the microwave and tested no fresh. I am really surprised to see the many good reviews of the food. Either the view made others overlook the faults or we just had bad luck. But we agreed among us that food, service and hospitality certainly did not justify their prices. We never came back during our stay."
