"Really cute restaurant with fun decorations that enliven the atmosphere. We had the Patron margarita with dinner which was good. The street tacos were good which was accompanied by an amazing sauce that was earthy and warm. The Noa Noa Special had really good meat and the crispiness was delightful."

"The menu has been pared down a bit. . . there used to be like 40 combos and now there's just 10 or so. I don't think I've ever gotten anything but rellenos so it doesn't bother me any. The rellenos are great but this place really sticks the landing on the ambiance. It's a love letter to the north Denver of yesteryear, still existing in small pockets but getting squeezed out by greedy developers building gaudy box buildings with creamsicle orange trim. Down the street there used to be a dive bar that now serves biscuits. I hope La Cocinita never changes; good food served at a fair price under the slightly too-bright light of a fluorescent bulb. Worn out vinyl seats in the booths, salty waitresses, a nice patio out front. Cold Pacifico. It's nearly perfect."

"We went to Lena on both Valentines and during Restaurant Week. The experience was similar both nights- incredible flavor profiles, so-so service. On the positive, the meats were prepared to perfections, very savory. The yucca bread rolls are amazing for anyone GF who wants an amazing treat. The spicy margarita was also a hit for the whole table. On the negative, the hostess was not friendly both nights, and our server did not check up nearly enough. There were plenty of opportunities for additional drinks that went unnoticed at both visits. After a long wait, the main course also came out 10 minutes apart between individuals, and we had the same entree. The waitress did not acknowledge the frustration, but seemed apathetic all together."

"Kachina was a really funny place with good vibes, but unfortunately for a Friday night underoccupied. our server was very friendly and took 15% off our bill, which was absolutely not necessary but very worthy. I really enjoy going to dinner and love support local but am sad to see so many places short-size. are they patient, understand and gracious with restaurants, especially during the holidays, as I am sure they are more stressed about serving them than we recognize. I would go back to kachina."
