"My friend and I went to lunch and asked for a menu. the server pointed to a QR code on the table and said scan that with their phone. we have responded that none of us had one and we would like paper menu. we said. that they don't have, but they came with a grubby tablet and told us that we could use this to access the menu. we left and went somewhere. now I know many people (especially seniors) who do not have or want to. when this trend spreads out, it means eating out of pastness will be."

"I LOVE chicken wings, so we decided to try their masala wings. They were more like lollipop chicken, definitely did not appear as chicken wings. The taste was okay. I looked at the other items on their menu, the price was way too much! If you ordered a curry, you have to order rice on the side, was shocked to see the price of plain basmati rice coated $8.00 over priced!"

"The dhal is delicious and the curries appropriately and richly spiced. Seeni sambol (carmelized onions for the gods) would be a wonderful addition to the menu (hint, hint). Home delivery arrived tepid on the return visit but nothing a microwave couldn't fix. A great option for people living downtown who don't want to trek out to Scarborough."

"My husband and I discovered THE HOST restaurant on our first trip to Toronto two years ago. Since then, we actually find a reason to visit Toronto to dine there! This little gem is hidden on a lovely and quiet neighborhood street. There are several...other Indian restaurants in Toronto, but The Host surpasses them all and has never disappointed us. If a particular item isn 't on the menu, the chef is happy to accommodate almost any favorite dish you desire. Always a wonderful experience. Simply superb Indian food! If you visit Toronto, this is a restaurant you should not miss!"
