"I booked the Crowne Plaza because the brand name is well known and it 's listed as a four star hotel. This particular hotel had more of a two star feeling. First off, I did not have any issues personally, it 's just overall not the service or feel like other four star places I 've stayed at. The staff wasn 't rude but also didn 't seem particularly interested in being helpful or welcoming. The room was fine. The decor is outdated but the bed and pillows were comfortable. My favorite part was that the bathroom had full sized bottles of Apotheke lotion, body wash, and shampoo and conditioner. Parking was a bit of an issue at first I had a rental car) because I didn 't realize there was a second lot in the back with more spots. The gate opens by itself and I wasn 't required to give or show any kind of automatic ticketing. Lastly don 't go to the restaurant. I ate there my first night because it was 8 pm and I was tired and hungry after flying in from New York, so it was an easy option. The food was beyond bland at extremely expensive $26 for a chicken alfredo that was about the equivalent to a Lean Cuisine). If you 're not fussy about accommodations, this place is fine. Don 't expect anything spectacular, though. It 's a short drive into Main St Burlingame, which has lots of nice shops and restaurants, and was about a 20 minute drive into downtown San Francisco."
