"Went for a belated birthday dinner and once again the food was wonderful. My daughter and I had the steak labuchere and it was fabulous. The gumbo was a good start and not to filling. The cheesecake that I had and the Bread pudding my husband had were of course wonderful and definite must have when eating there. The service was good and the only real complaint I have is that restrooms are not wheelchair friendly nor is access to them. You have to go down a walkway that is narrow due to having benches and the dessert/to go area there and it makes it to narrow for wheelchairs."

"Pros Catherine at the bar is fantastic beer is super cold crab/corn bisque is fantastic Cons crab cakes tonight were mostly fillers. May not be the usual but it was like a fried grit cake. Not much crab. the crab stuffed shrimp was more of the same. Fried balls of grit like batter. I?m a big fella that eats everything. I didn?t even want to attempt to eat this dish. Left it on the bar. Tonight, the cook failed the crab based menu options. I?ll come back next time I?m in town and give it another try on something else."

"Great food, many options on the menu the staff were wonderful. They accommodated our large party, with a nice room in the back that had a view of the harbor. When the check came, the owner came out and spoke with us personally. Very friendly and personable. Highly recommended for the food, atmosphere all around kind staff."

"Terry Lynn has an excellent job at catering and hosting a private party for me in her café! All shaved above all about their gumbo and also the chicken Alfredo! My personal favorite is her muffuletta! I look forward to doing it again!"

"Food looks pretty good but it was so SALTY greasy. I mean I know the place is called Fattys but we weren’t able to eat the meals at all. The oysters crab cakes were decent and our waiter was very nice but we found a cockroach in our booth and left… very disappointing"

"We were driving on way from Mississippi to Houston and on way we ordered the food with time and everything was perfect. We picked at curbside and had food inside car at same parking due to Covid scare) The food was also great and my kids enjoyed. Nice stopover to have a quick lunch or dinner if you are tired of fast food"
