"Tucked away near to the busy High court area this place caught my fancy for its name and outside ambiance since it was around lunch time gave it a go, however was in for a surprise when I walked in. The interior was set to the current movies playing in the theaters music too match it too. The menu looked just the ordinary my choice was a chicken biryani on arrival I found the difference it was served with all the traditional touchings of date pickle, pappad and a slice of pineapple which is never seen any where else. The taste was superb and when the meal was finished what struck me was that the very less residue of oil on my fingers. The place is super clean, humble and no dishes above Rs.100/-...Superb"

"We visited Thali for Lunch. They offered Chicken Chettinadu, Roast Chicken Curry along with Kerala Parotta. Must try. This is the only place where I found Chicken Roast Curry better than Chicken Chettinadu."

"Hotel looks a go to place since its on the NH road...decent food to try on. The chicken bargain was decent in quality and quantity , just felt they could provide individual salad plates when there are 4 people and not one for 4 people....Cleanliness has improved a lot from the earlier visit. So I feel this place has improved a bit and can do a lot better"

"A north Indian _ kebab speciality restaurant, in a cozy corner in Cochin is a place for good north Indian food. Service there is a nightmare experience. When asked the waiter if it was a self service restaurant, he answers that service is done on the table only on request. When I was spilling the food trying to serve myself, the waiter remained s spectator. You can find s worser form of service. Hope the management makes amends"

"I've been here twice - the first time during a really crowded lunch hour and another time before the dinner rush began. The first time left me really impressed; I had gone with my team from office for lunch. The food was delicious, the service ok, and the prices reasonable. We had chicken biryani, ghee rice, chicken kondattom, veg fried rice, chilly gobhi and fresh lime juice. No complaints, except that I felt perhaps the quantity could've been a little more for the price they charge. Especially the fried rice and gobhi. Also, the fresh lime juice had an overdose of sugar and a heavy, almost overpowering flavor of pineapple. But I was sure to go there again coz the food, after all, was quite delicious.Then I went on an evening and the place changed my opinion. Ordered Chicken Kuzhi Mandhi, chapathi and chilly gobhi. The rice in the kuzhi mandhi was well cooked, but the huge piece of chicken in it was bland. Completely tasteless. The chapathi was dry, rough and hard. There was hardly any cauliflower in the chilly gobhi dish - their was just fried batter tossed in sauce.So I really can't decide what rating to give this place, hence the average score. I'd like to go once more to see if that second visit of mine was during a bda day in their kitchen."

"Went there for lunch with family. The ambience and service is fine but the food was not up to the mark. In meals, nothing was served hot including the rice. We ordered a fish fry which they told is big and 3 to 4 people can easily share it and also it is a white pomfret they told. They bought a black pomfret instead of white, the size was too small not enough for a single person and also there was no taste and they charged Rs 490 just for the fish. Biriyani was with no masala, only the fried rice was hot and good. We informed the reception and they refunded Rs 200 for the same."
