"Can't believe how good the chicken is here. The hottest one is definitely mouth burning hot. I cannot handle heat and just touched one and kicked my fingers and I wanted to cry. But the mild ones were so good, even in the burgers. The...sides were to die for as well. We tried the coleslaw, onion rings but my favourite were the corn on the cob. Definitely worth a visit! Staff are so lovely too. They went out of their way to make the cocktails we wanted even though they'd run out of some of the ingredients."

"Great vegan options, great service and location. Would highly recommend. Lighting was a bit too low to read the menus but apart from that excellent!"

"My Wife and I are big fans of Oporto and have enjoyed watching them expand in Queensland over the last ten years or so. The quality has always been consistent and the yummy Bondi chicken with chilli burgers and quarter/half chickens with chilli have kept us returning to different Oporto's over this time. This Oporto outlet is in the Myer Centre foodcourt on the bottom level. We chose it this time as it was around 8PM on Good Friday and there wasn't much open. What a disappointment. There were few customers around so we were served immediately but from there it all went downhill. My Wife's Bondi burger was fine and was up to the usual Oporto standard. My half chicken with chilli sauce was not!Fancy ordering a half chicken with chilli and then getting the chicken but with no chilli at all! I returned to the counter where the girl apologized and took it back in to the preparation area. She then headed out somewhere else to get something (no doubt whatever it was had been put away already as the other staff were preparing to close the kitchen) and then spent several minutes doing who knows what before finally reappearing with my box of chicken which now had the chilli. By this time my Wife was well into her Bondi burger and I started on my chicken breast only to find it very dry which is most un-Oporto like. The thigh was a bit better and I was debating whether to say something about the breast to the staff but they closed the outlet whilst we were eating in the foodcourt so that was the end of that. Most disappointing."

"We went out to dinner to celebrate my special birthday. We didn't have to wait long for them to bring out the dishes. The food was great and the staff were helpful. The atmosphere was ambient and they have outdoor heaters as we sat outside. We were able to bring my birthday cake. One of the staff members sang Happy Birthday when the cake was brought out."

"As a Montrealer, I've got to say that Big Roddy's poutine is the real deal. Rich, flavorful gravy that saturated the fries just enough to soak them in, topped with none other than gooey, authentic melted cheese curds: a little taste of home in the land down under. My partner and I had the smokey barbecue beef ribwich to go along with it, which was equally as delicious. We'll definitely be back, but next time for some ribs, jala-mac-peño poppers and, of course, more poutine. 11/10, would highly recommend."

"Maru is a popular eatery on Elizabeth st. The Korean restaurant houses a large indoor dining area with the usual traditional Korean offerings and some specialty fusion cuisines. We had their BBQs and fried chickens in the past but want to explore their menu further. With that in mind we ordered: ziggle curry omu-rice, beef rib soup &amp; an entrée serving of beef bulgogi.&nbsp;<br> <br> Appetisers: kimchi, mayo crunchy glass noodle &amp; seasoned Korean gluten. All dishes were well made with nothing outstanding. The kimchi tasted mass produced (factory made) with big sour and thin chilli flavours. Crunchy glass noodles were interesting in texture but lacked flavour punch. Korean gluten was over seasoned with sesame oil. As an overall package: 3/5<br> <br> Beef bulgogi: was served room temperature as an entrée. The beef presents fragrant sweet soy and onion flavours but was let down by the dry and chewy texture. If only it was cooked to order. 3/5<br> <br> Ziggle curry omu-rice: contains fried... <a class="read-more" href="#">read more</a>"
