"Went to Blaks 2 years ago for a friend's birthday and was really taken by the place. The friendly service immediately made us comfortable and the food and drinks were delicious. Had been looking for a reason to go back as we don't dine out often. Finally went back a couple of days ago and was immediately reminded of why this restaurant struck a chord with me two years ago.Again, the service was exemplary with smiling friendly staff. The Italian wine on the menu was wonderful and as soon as I sank my teeth into their crispy fried chicken, I recalled the first time I tried it. It was perfectly cooked, with the batter crispy and the chicken still juicy, not dried up at all. All of our party of 7 enjoyed their meals and we left there very satisfied. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants honest to goodness comfort food. Also being able to book a table online through OpenTable made the whole experience extremely satisfying."
