"This restaurant was a pretentious expensive disaster or us. Starters: 2 of us had a Mexican style tortilla wrap, they added some Indian spices they shouldn't have bothered , 1 had the Moroni soup it was ok , 1 had a salad basically bland. Mains: I enjoyed the beef at the time , but we will come back to that later, 1 Alpen macaroni , this should be a comfort food , it wasn't. 1 had the curry , nothing special , 1 had a hodge-podge of mixed vegetables. Desserts 3 of us had the Chai tea Ice Cream dessert the combination simply did not work , the meringue was like eating a flavorless prawn cracker, the ice cream was ho hum, and adding the zesty orange , it simply did not work as a flavor combo. 1 had the pine tree ice-cream, and yes it was like eating snow from the base of a pine tree. The restaurant seemed to think it was clever giving non sweet desserts, it wasn't. We felt sorry for the very softly spoken trainee waitress , it just seemed obvious she was given the job due to family connections and not due to any natural talent, we ordered 4 drinks , she had to come back to check on all 4 , she originally got them all wrong and then my daughter ended up with sparkling water rather than still which she ordered. So I think the one thing i enjoyed at the time was sauce the came with the beef main , sadly I woke up the morning with that taste in my mouth as i threw up. Last point we did inform them it was my daughters birthday, it's traditional here to offer a little birthday treat, they didn't."

"For any hotel it's important that the rooms are well designed, user friendly and comfortable, Sadly none of these things were true of the room I was given at this hotel. The room was supposed to be a double but was tiny, white walls, white ceiling and white bedding made it look like a hospital side room, There was no kettle, no coffee, no fridge, a complementary bottle of mineral water but no glass to drink it from, there were no USB points for charging phones or tablets or laptops, A tiny desk so cluttered with hotel info that you couldn't work at it, and no shelves to move it to, Strange electric sockets meant my European adapter didn't work. There was one easy chair, no room for any more. The bathroom was also tiny with an annoying broken flickering light, a shower space so low the head of the shower only came up to my chin. All I can say is thank god I was only staying here for one night, and I don't have to come back here again. My advice to any traveller, especially a business traveller is stay somewhere else, if you want a 4 star service,"

"Nice located with enough parking. At one side you see the mountains, the other side a small harbour. Very nice in summer. I don't know the hotel side, only the restaurant. It's modern and nice. Enough space and also with a group no problem. Food and service are ok, but no highlight. All in all ok, but overpriced. I eat the Wiener schnitzel and last year the cordon bleu. Nothing special, room for improvement."
