"Cena a Winterthur al " National" : esperienza terribile. Entriamo e , con piacere, siamo accolti da un cameriere che parla un buon italiano. Ci viene indicato un tavolo per due. Sono le 19.00 e troviamo diversi commensali: iniziano a cenare alle 18.00. Il tavolo è privo di tovaglia seppur apparecchiato. Vedendo altri tavoli vicini con due persone chiedo alla cameriera, il cameriere che parla italiano intanto è sparito e la signorina parla un italiano stentato, come mai il nostro tavolo è sprovvisto di tovaglia. Mi risponde che è cosi. Il servizio è piuttosto rapido. Un bicchiere di vino italiano comune come aperitivo: 10 franchi. Intanto ci portano due piccole fette di pane su un piattino. Leggiamo il menù, scritto in italiano. Ordiniamo mezza bottiglia di minerale ( franchi 6,00) un piatto di gnocchi alla ricotta e un risotto al limone con gamberoni. I gnocchi , affogati in olio e burro, si possono contare quanto sono pochi. I gamberoni privi di qualsiasi sapore sono posati sopra una brodaglia di riso anch'esso annegato in olio e burro. Il tutto ha un pessimo sapore. Decidiamo di fermarci li anche se non siamo certo sazi. Conto : franchi 81,00. Il piatto di pochi gnocchi franchi 30,00 mentre il risotto ( si fa per dire) franchi 35,00. Locale situato dinnanzi alla stazione, molto rumoroso e privo di ogni gusto compreso quello del cibo."

"We visited this restaurant with our grand daughter and the selection on offer was superb, the staff were very attentive and really couldn't do enough for us. The restaurant was spotless and had a great atmosphere, especially as it was 2.30.pm. We will definitely be back on our next visit to our family."
