"First time there decided on dinner and not a lot of atmosphere being a mix of a pub and a shopping centre cafe on northern end of Chermside Shopping Centre. A mixture of tables outside on the covered verandah, inside the pub and...inside the shopping centre (where they sat us). Not the greatest atmosphere with the majoirty of food traffic being people leaving the takeaway bottle shop and a few stragglers from shops/movie theatre. Food was pub grub reasonably priced,standard type menu and nicely cooked but nothing to rave about. Order pay inside meals brought to your table. The bar is a standard pub bar it was very quiet so easy to get served. There is a TAB with a number of tv screens for watching sport. A but suprised at 8.30 when told the pub would close at 9 by 8.45 charis were being put on tables, doors partly closed by 9 it was shut (we felt we were holding them up by sitting there). Probably wouldn't go back for dinner but convenient location if there shopping although there are better dining options available at the centre providing much better ambience food would be open later."

"I usually make this a must stop over when in Brisbane for a great burger meal. Today, I discovered that they also make awesome salads that are extremely healthy and filling. Service is as usual great and the staff are very friendly."

"I have just crossed the road to an alternative coffee shop after experiencing disappointing service here. I was very excited about trying it out as they have my favorite coffee, Campos, but when I went up to the counter to order I was told to take a seat as they have table service. Aside from a couple of others sitting outside they weren't overly busy aside from the steady stream of takeaway coffee buyers. Despite looking over at me a couple of times, the young lady who directed me to take a seat proceeded to ignore me. I counted at least four staff behind the counter but no-one made an appearance. I gave up and left when I realised I wouldn't have time to eat the breakfast I wanted to order. The place across the road was the total opposite. My coffee made it to my table as I sat down and my scrambled eggs about 5 mins later. Guess I know where I will go in future!"

"Love Christmas in July. Christmas in July means 1/2 price menu well entree mains at any rate assuming you have the barcode this year. We had an early dinner (6pm so was great as no one else was there yet. For entree we had fish cakes mains were steak (of course! <br/>The fish cakes were fantastic. Actually tasted like fish, great texture, not mushy soft, firm full of flavour. The sauce was very fresh yum.<br/>The steaks a rump rib eye were cooked to perfection medium and rare the coleslaw was lovely and the chips are awesome. Husbands salad wasn't anything to write home about, just some lettuce chunks of tomato with a few slices of cucumber. <br/>All in all 1/2 price on a quiet Wednesday night it was a lovely evening, great food, great service friendly staff."
