"Still absolutely delicious! We tried their Seafood & Tofu Hot Pot, Seafood Stir fry, and Crab & Fish Mau Soup. The Seafood Stir Fry and hot pot had a fantastic mix of seafood flavors, tofu, and paired excellent with rice; out of both, I would recommend the Hot Pot more since it contained a larger embodiment of sauce and seafood flavors. The crab and fish mau soup was a healthy, ginger laced dish that battled my cold rather well. Although it was in a bowl that didn’t look too big, we were able to spoon at least 12 cups, so it was a very good portion for what we received. The waitress was quick and attentive, and Chow’s, as always, comes recommended! <br>

"Been to both the Meridian and Air Depot stores and on average don't see a lot of difference. Some items at one are better than the other and vice versa possibly differing day by day by item. It is not the best place on the planet, but it is a huge buffet with lots of excellent choices and a very reasonable price. I rather like the roast meats and wings. They also do a pretty good egg foo young with gravy."

"Seems dated and somehow feels like it is waiting to die. Kind of dark, foreboding, and in need of a serious makeover.<br>

At lunch you order from a list of preprogrammed combinations. I cannot remember ever seeing a real menu.<br>

The food comes heaped on a plate. It looks like they skipped out on the presentation class in culinary school.<br>

The waitstaff and the cashier seem to be putting in their time waiting for the end of their shift to arrive.<br>

As for the food, it is nothing special. The good thing is that it is served hot, has variety, and comes out in large quantities. At times I have thought that they might want to change the fry oil a bit more often.<br>

If you want quantity and variety this is your place. If you want huge quantities of a single dish try Long Zhu across the street."

"Pretty slimey. All the sauces are a little goopy and dishes always come swimming in it. The deep fried stuff is your best option here. The only reason we order it at the office is because they deliver. So I end up making a meal out of hot sour soup, crab ragoons and an egg roll If one of the decent chinese places(golden phoenix, lido, grand house, dot wo) would start doing delivery they would make a killing in this town!"

"With TaiPei you get the most for your money. Lunch specials are good anytime. Special requests are easily complied with. Your food arrives quickly at your table and pickup service is quick also. I prefer the Chicken Chow Mein and/or the Sweet and Sour Chicken. I'm not an eggroll eater but others say that they are good here. I always get the sauce on the side to make it just right for me. The Hot and Sour soup is excellent. My husband loves the Yang Chow fried rice. Their wok is so well seasoned that it gives the fried rice a distinctive taste and aroma that he enjoys. My only negative is that since I am in a motorized chair, I can no longer go inside the restaraunt to eat. There is a ramp, but, there is a central column between the two doors making it impossible for me to go inside. So we call our order in and my husband picks it up and we eat at home. If you don't mind the plain jane interior, this is a good place to eat at."
