"I was introduced a few years ago by a working mate in kei. it was great at the time and it is still great. I returned last night with my family and that was probably my 10th visit. the great side of kei is that they never let starve. they can eat as many bangs, appetizers, medium and main courses as they want to order with all freshly prepared. this restaurant is absolutely not comparable to ghastly buffets that serve on the baptisms of tepid massen produced food with ingredients of a questionable quality. the amount of dishes in the offer are Chinese, but there are many Thai dishes and some singapur and Malaysian also. there are only too many dishes to call as favorites, but the chicken and cashew nuts and crispy chili beef are definitely on the top of the list. the satay huh to start is also a winner! the staff here are attentive and very friendly, even if they deliver their feet away and accommodating in a packed restaurant. we were constantly asked if our meals were enjoying and table water was refilled without asking. the price per head for dinner is £19.50 and the restaurant has a 10% service fee that I do not object. the service was error-free. while no cheap meal, the experience was worth every penny. drinks and desserts are available against on price. but after so much hearty eating I had no place for something sweet. only a few kritiken does not work the website booking tool. I called on the day of my visit as I had not received a confirmation. I was told that there was a problem with the website and I should book in future a table. the website also shows the cost for dinner £18.50 the difference is negligible, but the information is still wrong. the website must be updated to avoid dissatisfaction from future customers. all in all but an excellent culinary experience."

"The Red Cow Pub/Restaurant in Star Road in Caversham has just reopened again in June 2018. It's a traditional family dog friendly pub. The new landlords, Rocky Sangetta are a nice, friendly young couple from Nepal. The pub has been completely renovated inside out. There are 4 large TV's in all, a couple of them showing Sky Sports, a covered area outside in the garden with comfy chairs in the smoking area. Also, there’s a small BBQ outside in garden and two fire pits/barbecues for when it's cold or add extra BBQ's. Free Wi-Fi with a good signal, even in the garden. A snug area with comfy sofas TV. There’s a dart board pool table. A good selection of lagers, Guinness some bitters. Parasol benches tables in garden. Juke box gaming machines. A nice real fire used in the winter. As it is still new there are only a few small items on the food menu like dumplings spring rolls. Traditional Nepalise Sukuti. Burgers: chicken cheese, beef veggie. chips, fish chips, veggie samosas, chicken pork dumplings, chow main: pork, chicken or vegetable. Fried prawn. They are hoping to install a coffee/tea machine soon are looking at having a karaoke night."

"Really great Chinese food. I've tried a few other Chinese restaurants in Reading but this os by far the best one. The chow mein is great (I always go for the special chow mein) the prawns are nice, big and juicy. The rest of the dish has plenty of meat in it as well. The portion sizes are generous so it's great value for money. My partner is vegan and they have a lot of veggie options. She had the somosas, seaweed and vegetable rice noodles and black bean tofu which was all really good. The delivery driver was extremely polite and friendly as well and gave great customer service. He put a smile on my face so that topped it off for me. This is definitely my go to takeaway from now on."
