"Because I’ve been getting my turkeys here for the past two years and they are the best. $50 for somebody to make a turkey for you is super smart, because of the other cooking that has to be done in the house. There is good home-cooked food here, and a helpful staff to serve it. They have indoor seating, and are handicap accessible. They are expensive, but good Organic food is. I will be going here on a regular basis for years to come. Oh and it’s a good decision to get the $35 a year membership. Update 11-26-2021: Make sure to ask that your Turkey is completely cooked through. It seems that It’s an easy thing to get wrong due to the new hands being hired on a regular basis. This is not a negative review. I sincerely do love this store, and plan to shop there. I will have to go to the store to see what they say about the Turkey we had them cook for us this year that turned out not cooked. I did buy the biggest Turkey there. Which means longer cook time. They had other Turkey’s they where preparing for others that were much smaller. For this reason they might have just underestimated the time needed in the oven. Due to the other smaller Turkey’s needed less time to cook through. They must have temperature checked the wrong area of the bird or the temperature check fell through the cracks. Someone might have thought the “other guy” checked it already. Either way. I’m not upset about this. We called on thanksgiving day to warn that they might be sending out undercooked Turkey’s just so others wouldn’t eat raw Turkey. They nice lady that helped us said we should put its back in the oven at 350 for another 30 minutes. It took about an hour total for it to completely cook through. All was well after we did this, and those who ate it said it was really good and well seasoned. We will be having lots of Turkey sandwiches for the next few days, because most of the 22 people here ate the amazing sides Thanksgiving brings. So it was no problem really. I’m leaving this review because it’s important that others don’t eat raw Turkey, and I can’t in good conscience just not say something. This to say, my Turkey was the biggest Turkey there and I understand why this could happen. There are many different factors that could lead to this happening. These are great people here, and have a wonderful company. Something’s just happen sometimes. We worked it out in the end here at the house. Everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and the Turkey mishap just gave us something to talk about. I still recommend Godwin’s and will be happy to shop here. Oh and by the way try the Canada’s whistler glacial artesian water here. It’s amazing, and if you like Kirkland water you will love this."
