"We had the Mongolian beef, honey sesame chicken, some lo han noodle dish, calamari, and lettuce wraps. Overall, we were disappointed. The Mongolian beef and calamari didn't form enough of a crust when they fried, so they had this unappealing sogginess. It kind of had a clumpy, doughy texture. The Mongolian beef sauce also had no thickening agent, so it had the thickness of warm soy sauce, which resulted in weak flavour as it couldn't stick to the beef. The honey sesame chicken had good flavour, but not a lot of dimension to it as it was just the entirety of the dish was pieces of breaded chicken and sauce. The lettuce wraps' filling actually had excellent flavour, but even here there was disappointment in the lettuce they provided. They basically just gave us a whole wedge of lettuce, including the wilted dark green exterior and the heart of the lettuce which were yellow, curly, and too small to be usable as a vessel/wrap. The noodle dish was most disappointing. The sauce was weakest of all and the vegetables didn't really cook enough to caramelize or blend flavours. We each tried a few bites and ended up throwing it out. None of the dishes came with rice, which I thought was super weird and would've appreciated knowing ahead of time. It wasn't that big of a deal to cook some at home, but still another mark against the place."
