"Today we spent our anniversary at Strolla. The staff, the food, the service....in fact everything was just perfect. We had the lamb koftas and chicken livers....definitely by far the best we have ever had. Outstanding main course cooked to perfection. I had the salmon and hubby had the Portuguese steak. To end off our delightful lunch we had the oreo cheesecake served on a plate beautifully decorated to the occasion. Well done for all the hard effort and thank you for making our day so special. Next time (and very soon may I add) we will be back with our little one as there is a play area for children with attendants to take care of your children on condition you fill in a liability form which I find very good. Also the table behind us ordered the chicken curry that teased my taste buds uncontrollably, the smell and aroma was to die for. To all the staff and to the owner thank you once again and keep up the outstanding and professional work. Our only downside is that you to far away from home otherwise we would become part of the furniture. Kerry and Michael"

"If you are looking for traditional cape malay food, this is the place! But dont worry they have other options too, such as pasta and grills. The seafood pasta was perfect, not to saucy, not to dry. The braised steak, rice and veg was flavourful. Curries were delicious. Reasonably priced and well worth it as portions are not skimpy. If you too lazy to cook, and you feel for homemade food- Alhambra will save you!"

"I have been to Jiah many times, but sadly have never taken the time to review the restaurant. All my visits have been an overall good experience, with a few unsatisfactory moments.<br/ <br/ My last visit was when I booked a table for 18h30, for 2 people. When I got to the restaurant, they had reserved a table for 6. Rather too many seats than no reservation at all, I guess...<br/ <br/ We sat at a table that had nothing on it no condiments whatsoever. I 'm sure if I 'd asked the waiter would have brought me, but all we had was the wood of the table.<br/ <br/ I ordered my food and we had been waiting for a while before the waiter came to tell me they couldn 't prepare my salad because they didn 't have all the ingredients. I was highly annoyed. I then ordered the calamari, and the waiter wouldn 't allow me to order the combination of sides I wanted, until I told him they have to, otherwise I 'd complain. He gave in and brought what I asked.<br/ <br/ The food was delicious. I had the calamari and my friend had Alfredo pasta. The calamari was spicy, while the Alfredo would have been better if it had been served with chili and garlic (as restaurants typically serve pasta .<br/ <br/ I fought to have onion rings as a side as well, but it wasn 't worth the fight. It was tasteless. <br/ <br/ Jiah used to have wet wipes (halaal certified ones! but now they don 't seem to have any anymore.<br/ <br/ Our waiter, Liyabona, was such a sweetheart. He was friendly and attentive and was so cute when I asked him to bring a dessert for my friend that said 'happy 30th birthday '. He excitedly agreed, and winked at me while serving our food because it was our secret adorable! Anyway my friend only caught on when the dessert arrived. <br/ <br/ I really like this place and want to see them be successful. A fully halaal restaurant that has the potential to be a 5 star restaurant. Come on Jiah owners and staff, you can do it."

"Great quality food at reasonable prices. I can quite honestly say that this is THE BEST Vegan Vegetarian food in town!!! I have tried a variety of their dishes over the past six weeks and can unquestionably say that their supreme quality and the deliciousness of their food is unmatched. Their attention to detail in the making of EVERY dish leaves something to be desired each and every time. Deliciousness with every bite! I’d recommend any and every one of their dishes and all of their samoosas"

"First time visiting Bihari and it certainly did not disappoint. The food and atmosphere were really amazing. My mum and I ordered 2 dishes two share: Chicken Tikkka Masala (medium) and the Lamb Rogan Josh (hot) along with Garlic Naan. Both Currie dishes as well as the naan were absolutely delicious. I literally cannot wait to go back."

"This place is such a hidden gem! Delicious food, cozy, warm, romantic atmosphere, with a fireplace lovely for a chilly evening! The service was excellent. Waiter was efficient, friendly, and made great suggestions. Had a lovely evening here. Really liked the warm atmosphere and good food, will be back to try more from the menu : the pork belly is a must, the cheesecake was also delicious."
