"I absolutely love this cafe and it is vegan, it is definitely my go to place when in Leicester. The food is sooo delicious and the cakes are mouth watering, and the best part is no animals have been harmed! All of the staff are so lovely and it is situated in a very impressive old building with lots of comfortable seating. It is such a calming atmosphere, and yes it is slightly more expensive but the menu is awesome and the quality of the food/drinks is amazing, you won't be disappointed! Can't wait to come back soon, especially for more cake!"

"We walked in to the restaurant as a family of there was a couple of tables available so we thought we will have a nice quiet meal as were starving and it was our favourite restaurant in Leicester. The waitress came to us and told us there were no tables available and we have to wait a half an hour. When I pointed an empty table she just said that we still have to wait for minutes. When I asked why, the waitress just said that “if you want the table you got to wait And walked away even though I still was talking to her. We have waited and finally got the table. My menu had liars of marks on it and drawings on it, so I asked for another new menu and the same waitress just said “we do not have other menus so you got to use the ones you have received”. That was just the end of it. We got up and asked the waitress for a manager, she said she is the manager. We asked for her name and she refused to give it to us. She was laughing in our faces, literally. We said we will ask her colleague what is her name and she just extended her arms so we could t walk through! We have managed to speak to the gentleman who was also working there, he was nice and polite. He did provide her name and wrote it down for us as Christine. We are not sure if that is correct as the waitress shouted at him saying “do not say my name” We been here several times and never had any issues but the such service left us disappointed and won’t be back again…."

"We went on a Sunday evening and there was a large group already seated on our arrival. This did nothing to effect the service from the attentive staff or the kitchen. The food was outstanding and levels of service faultless. The large group added to the atmosphere I am sure the gentleman who’s 21’st it was is the best behaved 21 year old birthday boy on the planet. Let’s hope he makes amends out of season ! Thank you very much for an enjoyable dinner."

"Worst experience. Tacky and need for modernisation. Felt like we were in a third world country. Simple Fish Pakora. Salty and undercooked. Prawn Curry was medioca. Kulfi Felt like I was drinking Lassi. Pull your fingers out guys.... Come on"

"Passing by Leicester and stopped over to grab a bite. Not disappointed. Slight waiting time to be seated as the place was packed and people queuing to be seated, despite it being a weekday afternoon. Signs of a good restaurant I guess and hopeful the food would be fresh as a result. Ordered the Indo Chinese Tawa for 2. Decent and more than adequate portion size. It’s a shame to learn the price has increased quite a bit from £26 to £32. That is a 23% hike. Great customer service although be mindful they only accept cash."

"Friends and family of management get priority and no idea of keeping customers welfare and health safety during covid times a priority except keep filling tables and keep the tills ringing what a greedy owner on that basis no matter how good the food is...we will not be going there again and greed is always judged with your karma"
