"I ordered a chicken coconut curry today and this was my first time trying out Indian food and I have to say it was just absolutely delicious! The curry was flavorful and the chicken was perfectly cooked too. I most definitely recommend everyone to try it out and of course I will be ordering here again!"

"It's a quaint little mom and pop shop in Old town Torrance next to the Foster's Freeze. I want them to stay open forever. So please come out and support. You order and pay at the counter. Then self seat and they bring your order out. They have a station for complimentary water and hot and cold barley tea. They have different kinds of soba and udon which you can have hot or cold and rice bowls. You can add sides and different toppings. I was overwhelmed so I picked one of the combos and added tempura.Friend got the kakiage rice. The kakiage was GIGANTIC. I'd never seen kakiage that big before. She seemed to like it.Other friend on the niku udon with ontama. That came first and it smelled so good. Honestly wished I had gotten that.But I can never resist katsudon so I got the pork katsudon soba combo with a side of tempura. Katsudon was good. Bowl was on the mini side but it comes with a plate of soba. You'll be fine if you don't add tempura like me. The tempura was okay. Not as crunchy as I expected. Came with shrimp, pumpkin, sweet potato, eggplant, and shishito. I enjoyed it. After you're done eating, bring your trays to the shelves by the counter. :"

"I don't know why this restaurant is so highly rated. It was recommended by my son who is a real foodie and his recommendations are usually right-on. But this time he was way off. Tandori chicken was dry and had a funny taste. The curries we had were pretty lacking in flavor, an amazing feat for Indian food. Naan was Ok but nothing great. The yogurt condiment was watery. Overall I think I am being generous rating it as average. To provide perspective, I am a lover of Indian food and get it frequently. As a general proposition I am a good evaluator of food as I travel extensively and have had many of the world's cuisines in their courty of origin (my best experiences with Indian food were on my many trips to England)."

"Fun food but a little expensive. I wish they offered a mix match “sando” set option to give a different experience. The dipping curry should also be half the size and half the price. I liked my food though and will be back Food came out to ~23 per person."
