"We walked in by mere chance, driving by looking for a quick bite to eat for lunch. And we were thrilled, especially by the tasty and plentiful soups. The ambiance is cool and trendy, but not over the top. And the fridge where the beverages...are kept is a terrific antique, the restaurateur went all the way to an Austrian village butcher to acquire it. We are sure to come back on our next trip to Essen."

"We had to leave everything just like that because neither salate nor curry have tasted us. the salat consisted only of five gurken slices and was incredibly badly seasoned. the suppe has tasted only after salt. the curry was a catastrophe. it consisted of imperial vegetables (depressed by lidl or aldi) and the consistency was rather suppening. the flesh was not even. like the suppe, the curry was also bathed in salt. the worst we found the rice, which was really old and tasted very funny. although we had ordered brot, we did not get this, but we had to pay for it. we have rejected the dessert. the only thing that tasted us was the papadam brot (first floor). However, we had to pay for dips (with dye and only sugar)."
