"Want to have authentic Venezuelan food in the middle of a London suburb?
This humble cafe is your place. The food was delicious, offering a variety of traditional fayre with a super lovely waitress. We really enjoyed all of the food.
We had Pastelitos and mini empanadas to start whilst sipping on some delicious cocktails. The Man had the national dish of Pabellon Criollo and I had Pabellon de Pollo. They were both very tasty and satisfying and were simply presented.
After all of this and a couple more cocktails we managed to find room for dessert, being a big sweet-lover I try to squeeze one in wherever I go. I had hot churros and the man had a traditional pudding made with condensed milk (I can't recall the name) it was very sweet and nice but I couldn't eat too much!
Overall a nice experience in a bright cafe with funky artwork on the walls and Venezuelan goods on sale in a mini-shop shelving unit. The waitress was a gem, just so lovely, knowledgeable and chatty. I just think it was priced a little bit high. For everything else, definitely worth a visit."
