"We loved this place so much we ate here twice during our 3 day stay in Vancouver. Even my vegetarian husband liked it, they have good veggie burgers and fish & chips in addition to the obviously awesome burgers."

"We enjoyed a nice impromptu dinner here. The restaurant itself is massive, so even on a Saturday night, we felt like we were the only ones there. Our server was nice and the food was good (we both ordered pizza). The beer selection was good,...not huge, but not minuscule either. We both enjoyed our meal and were glad we found this place."

"Kind of a hit or miss. I've been here a large handful of times since they're close to me, mostly takeout recently, and tried a good chunk of the vegetarian and fish selection on the menu. Food from best to worst: I absolutely love the Garden Burger the asiago and pecan based patty is a little heavy, but entirely worth it for the amazing texture and flavour. The tacos are pretty good too. I tried the Tuna and the BBQ Jackfruit and thought the jackfruit tasted fresher and was more interesting (but that part is just my taste). The Smoked Salmon Bowl (off the brunch menu) was slightly underwhelming and heavy on the tots and light on the arugula and capers. The hollandaise and cream cheese sauce was a little watery, but I did get this one to go so that may have not been the case if I'd eaten it fresh. But the salmon was fine, the eggs were poached well, and the Cajun seasoning on the tots was nice. The Fish and Chips (both the fish and the chips) was very soggy. This is another one where I'm sure the fact that I took it to go did not help, but I don't think that same meal would have been crispy enough to merit a shining review even if I'd eaten it a little sooner. All of the desserts I've tried were a solid 4.5 stars. I liked the older dessert menu (which had a lovely sticky toffee pudding and caramel pretzel sundae) better than the current selection, but the cheesecake currently on offer is admittedly pretty good it has a fluffy salted caramel mousse on the side which is very tasty and unique. This is a very minor issue when the food all ends up in the same place anyway, but it seems like, when you do takeout, they really just throw the food in the box and do not care. The salmon bowl in particular was some of the messiest arrangement of food I have ever seen. The plating is nice if you dine in.In general, the food is not really worth what you pay for it. Other restaurants in this city that charge comparable prices do higher quality food. The drink menu is great. On tap, they have a few options for just about every major variety of beer and a pretty even balance of local and imported. With Vancouver's strong craft beer culture, it seems like most good bars here feature mostly local drinks which is of course great, but I like that you can try some less common international beers here. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice and it's well maintained. There are some cozy spots inside, and the patio by the plaza fountains, is also nice when the weather is good (it's mostly covered, so it's available as long as the temperature is agreeable). The service is fine also. It's pretty family friendly, even later in the evening."

"Enjoyed the atmosphere not dark and dingy headed to the left side comfy high table and cushioned seat. TV'S for viewing not too many a long bar with regulars perched, noticed as I returned again for the super great hot wings ! Award winning as well ! The quesadillas looked great so I ordered them as well when I brought a friend the next time. They were SO GOOD ! I am picky so when I say the food was good it was.... Extra for the guacamole but so good also ! She had the fish taco's loved them. And I went back the following Tuesday for wings again, there on sale Tuesday and 20 is my fill. So many kinds but love my hot ones and the blue cheese dip and crisp celery I order is extra but can't do without YUMMY ! They make a great caesar as well they have made and sell there own Blase Beans I think and use them in the drinks no pepers and pearl onions for me, GO ENJOY GOOD FOOD !"

"This was our 1st time at Joe's Grill. We found the tables to be quite close together. It was difficult to get in and out. Our 1st table was right at the cash so my husband always had people standing on either side of his chair and behind him. So when a different table for 2 came open we asked to move.We had order a coffee and a juice at the 1st table. I saw our server bringing it about 4 feet away she turned around, set them down and went to handle people paying bills. As she completed a transaction for one person another would come up and be waiting, in total she handled 4 customer transactions; thus, the people around my husband and us having to wait quite some time for our drinks. Then we moved to the other table before the drinks came. 5 minutes later another waitress came and I told her our drinks were waiting on the table by the bar.We ordered the Corned Beef Hash and The Brit. Food was good, I like the fried potatoes. However, normally with Corned Beef Hash the potatoes are shredded, these where not, they were the same chunky potatoes as all the other meals. They were good just not was expected.Coffee was weak.Large juice was a good size.We would go back but we would also like to try some other breakfast restaurant."

"We had a drink and appies while waiting for the kids to return from a concert. Ordered a drink ( Bellini) and appies ( dry ribs and calamari), the drinks were tasty but I would question the advertised alcohol content. The appies were not great. Dry ribs were over done so were tough and dry. The calamari was soggy and super greasy not crispy. So disappointing all around except for the sticky toffee birthday treat at the end. The restaurant was very quiet with lots of staff. We won't be back would seek out somewhere else next time"

"Boulevard Kitchen and Oyster Bar is a chic restaurant located in the Sutton Place Hotel. This fine dining establishment is renowned for its fresh oysters on the half shell and famous seafood towers. The menu selections however, offer much more than seafood. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the choices are both traditional and creative from morning through late night dining. A special brunch menu is offered on weekends. Breakfast buffet daily until 10:30 am.Happy hour is served from 3 to 6 in the restaurant's bar and patio. In addition, Gerard Lounge, which is adjacent to Boulevard also has happy hour. The staff is friendly and professional. Dinner prices are moderate to high. A very enjoyable dining experience."
