"The peach shrimp are unforgettable indulgence: best "deep fried" shrimp I have every eaten anywhere, hands down. The best Peach Shrimp ever.The Crispy Ginger Beef is actually crispy, so flavourful, less fatty than most with meatier strips. Outstanding and the BEST in the city.We live 30 minutes away from this location and drive there for our take out. It is annoying, but just outstanding. After a "feed", it is so addictive, that all I want to do is go back the following week! You will not regret it. Opens at 4pm and I really wish it would open much earlier!"

"Service was pretty good and dishes did come out very fast. The Shanghai noodle was very good. But other dishes were average in smoked fish, Xiao long bao, salty soy milk and turnip cake. In opinion Shanghai Grill is better than this place."

"This is one of the best authentic Szechaun food. Foods are delicious and delicate. If you are looking for a regular Chinese food for Canadian, don't go there. You won't find regular lemon chicken, chicken balls, ginger beef, fried rice, or chow main. Be open minded if you wish to try. We love their spices and unique taste they offer. If you love spicy, this will be the place. By the way they moved to Whyte Ave for more than a year. It's a nicer place and waiting time is shorter. Foods still delicious. Our favourite are #42, #50, #110, #216, #221. We go there very often. We eat out 2-3 a week. And this the restaurant we sincerely recommend."

"What a fantastic little mom and pop restaurant. They do a lot of take out and delivery. My wife and I ate in and each had a combo for 1. I loved my orange chicken and the variety of vegetables was excellent. I will definitely return. My new favourite Chinese restaurant"

"Used to eat here often when living in Edmonton about 5 years ago. Waitress remembered us, and the service was friendly with lots of thank you 's. They may have gotten a new cook though, because the food wasn 't as good as in the past, and there was less meat than in the former days. We were pleasantly surprised, however, with the streamed fish one taken from one of their aquariums. Very tasty, tho kind of pricey at $15 per pound. This one weighed at most 1 pound cooked, but they charged $30, maybe because she had estimated that the small fish in the tanks weigh about 2 pounds. Oh well we pay for our experiences. But on the positive side, their hot sour soup remains one of the best in Edmonton. And the sizzling pan of eggplant was quite memorable. Huge container of streamed rice was a bonus, enough for 7 of us eating. Cost was $130 before the tip, which was okay. They offered a Dinner for 4 or was it 5? But for the same price, we got to choose our favorite dishes. Will go back especially for the soup."

"Good taste and selection ,the price is kind of high though.If something is wrong they will endeavor to make it right .Will keep going back with the grand kids .My wife is in a big mobility scooter and has no problem getting around and in and out of this place.Also allergys are catered to."
