"We took the boat over on Saturday to enjoy dinner with our family. What a disappointment that was. We chose to sit outside for the views even at 100° that evening, but didn't expect to not have refills of our drinks (water). I had to ask 3 different times to have water refilled between the 5 of us. The wait staff did not want to wait tables outside because of the heat. Our service was AWFUL. We order 2 appetizers the fried pickles were good, the cheese curds were under cooked and soft and mushy. Our dinner plates were not the best but not the worse. It's sad to see they have raised the prices AGAIN on every item. Chicken strip dinner $27.98 for frozen chicken strip and potatoe wedges ??Definitely not a place I will choose to dine at again with our family of 5, it is more of a share dinner plates kind of place.Go for the views not the food or service and you won't be disappointed like we were."

"My husband and I visited tor the first time today.(We're not from Denison We were there a little after 10:30 and it was pretty busy but we got seated quickly. We were given some complimentary bread rolls with butter. They were fresh. The inside was soft and warm. I ordered fried green tomatoes for an appitizer( I've always wanted to try them and i wasnt disappointed! They were nice and crispy not mushy at all. They had a little bite to them. It came with avocado ranch which was surprisingly yummy. I ordered the chicken fried chicken, broccoli rice casserole and garlic mashed potatoes with white gravy. To drink was just a soda. The chicken fried chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Great flavor. The mashed potatoes were creamy and the broccoli rice casserole was very flavorful. My husband ordered a sweet tea with lemon, the chicken fried brisket, loaded baked potato and a salad. He let me try a little bit of his food. Im picky with my sweet tea and usually wont order it when at a restaurant because its always too sweet but here it was just perfect. Just the righr amount of sweetness. The chicken fried brisket was a first for us. It was nice and crispy on the outside, the inside was soft and not dry at all. Has great flavor. The salad was a good size. Im not sure if they make theirbown crutons or not but that was ny favorite party of the salad. Overall everything exceeded out expectations. If you haven't been to eat here I would definitely recommend it!"

"We were warmly welcomed by the owner of the cafe. The service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious and for a very reasonable price. Will definitely go back."

"Olivia was a big server. She got our food out hot. The food was great! The Jalapeno stripe for appetizer was delicious, only enough heat for the paprika to make them pleasant. My husband had the chicken steak he said was good. He tried my chicken strips and said they were better than his meal. These were not frozen pre-ground strips, they were fresh. Very cheap! Appetizer and two meals, no drinks, was $29. with a $7. tip; from the door for $36. This will be my way to the restaurant when I drive Houston to Tulsa and return."
