"The most breathtaking thing about this restaurant is the decor. It’s like stepping into another world! It’s absolutely stunning. Gorgeous lovely restaurant. A lot of time was taken to decorate the rooms, the walls, the ceilings, the tables. Even the bathrooms. I loved every part of the restaurant. It has an elegant touch of rustic shabby chic designs. Love it The food!! Wasn’t too keen on the food. Found it really underwhelming. A few things we wanted on the menu was not available and that’s fine but it would have been great for the waitress to mention it to us before we placed orders. It could be that the options we went for weren’t the best ones but the only thing I enjoyed was the complimentary bread and beautifully flavoured butter. The dumplings were very basic and so was the veal salad. The apple margarita cocktail I ordered was too salty! It was truly basic for the standards I expected. Staff were ok but could have been friendlier. It appeared our waitress couldn’t speak English so that could have been a contributing factor. It’s certainly worth a visit for the experience of the environment and for traditional Russian culture but I probably wouldn’t go back."
