"We had to wait outside for just over half an hour before we could be seated regardless of our reservation. Service was friendly, but the place was quite dark (not in the romantic lighting sense) and had a very crowded feel. The food was very good, but italso took a long time to come out. Even though there were good aspects to this place, I feel like there are other sushi optionsthat taste just as good and won't keep you waiting so long."

"Don't let the limited menu and fast service fool you. Marugame makes both broths and noodles from scratch. The ingredients are fresh and expertly cooked. The flavors are so good enough that they don't need the MSG most American Japanese restaurants add to their dishes.I usually get the Tan Tan noodles with ginger, spicy powder and green onions. My husband, who before Marugame thought all Japanese food was teriyaki or supermarket sushi, now likes Tonkotsu with an egg. The food is good enough to remind me of my childhood in Honolulu, and, if this place added seaweed patties and salt plum to the menu, I would never eat anyplace else. I love it.GIVE IT A TRY."
