"Great customer service. The chicken Katsu was very thin though.... Mostly crumbling and batter than chicken. Was just ok, wish I tried the Karage chicken instead. Sushi and Sashimi was really fresh and tasty, great rice."

"My wife booked for a Tuesday night at 6:30 and i had no objections. We arrived a little early but this was no problem and our table was ready for us. Being Hobart many tables were already busy but as these became vacant more people streamed in. The two waitresses were very experienced and coped well. My wife had Miso soup at $2.50 and it was better than what she had at the Langham Hotel in Melbourne. I had the Mussel soup at $3.50 and it was excellent and good value. My wifes Seafood Salad arrived quite a bit before my Sukiyaki and she was in raptures. Her Salad looked like a platter for two but was delicious and varied. Her Scallops were declared best of anywhere. My Beef came in a hotpot abd was terrigic and plentiful. Both our beautifully cooked and plentiful meals were very reasonsble at between $24 & $26. This place has taken off and deservedly so. Well done to this Moonah Icon."

"We had both chicken catsu for dinner, it was only $6.95 but was a little small. we enjoyed it, but not sure why they don't have dinner. the drinks are very expensive. the restaurant itself is a strange design strange stands...and strange shaped tables."
