"My opinion: very overpriced for what they get. order a sushi dinner with a roll and the menu says 7 pieces sushi. as takeout ordered and come home and realized that they have damaged me one of the sushi pieces I have paid for. of the six pieces I got, you were not even fish. the tamago tasted pampered and couldn't even eat it. some of the fish were simply not fresh. the roll was tiny. the price was 31 and the tax change. compared to other sushi places in scottsdale this is much too expensive. would decide not to come back."

"WORST RESTAURANT I've ever been to. We go on Valentine's Day. We made a reservation on OpenTable. Confirmed. We get there. They don't even have a table for us. Next... We get sat. Waitress takes our appetizer order not drink order. Brings our miso and then bails without taking our drink order. Then minutes later gets the drink order from the table next to us and ignores us. Twice. Next person we see is the manager who says he's taking over for her. They say we got you they take our order and bring our drinks. Things looking up. Nope. Nope. We wait minutes for our drinks. Then... after another minutes they bring ONLY the teriyaki chicken for my wife. Not any of the sushi rolls that I ordered. We ask where my rolls are and the waitress literally rolls her eyes doesn't respond and runs to he back. It gets worse from here but I figure by now you get the gist. The teriyaki tasted great! If only the service wasn't RIDICULOUSLY HORRENDOUS"

"This place is one of the top sushi places where I was. After we lived in LA and moved to Prescott, we were at a loss for good sushi until we tried Pure Sushi. That's better the service or the food, it's a waste. Great service with great sushi and creativity in the roles and other dishes. I have to try something new here and be disappointed. Yes, we drive over an hour to enjoy your beautiful and tasty restaurant. Thank you for your commitment to quality!"

"We had a reservation for 5 pm. We requested a booth when we arrived not realizing that it would be a special request. We asked to be closer to the bar area to see the game. We were told by the host and the individual seating us that the booths weren’t available and were for people who put booth down. When we left there were three or four booths with no one sitting there the entire 1 1/2 hours. We saw another party of two come in and they were seated in one of the booths. It was really disappointing as we’ve never had this happen in past visits to Ra. I don’t want to assume that it was due to any physical appearances but it did come to mind. Our server was wonderful and made the dining portion great."
