"We’re international travelers and frequently eat Indian curry. We decided to try Mela based on the reviews but were quite disappointed. The tables are crammed and you’re just about touching the table next to you. The server did ask if we wanted to move but it wouldn’t have made a difference. We did not enjoy our starter, main course, papadums and naan bread. Service was very rushed. Unfortunately we did not enjoy the food and seating, and will not go back the next time we’re in Boston."

"This is our favorite Indian restaurant in the area. Tons of flavor and variety of curries. The spice level can vary a bit depending on who's cooking that night, but you can't go wrong with any choices on the menu. Lots of options for dietary needs and fast service. There is not an accessible entrance and there are stairs. Parking can be a challenge in the area"

"We have eaten here a half dozen times and always enjoyed it. I see the one star reviews here and just don 't agree perhaps the restaurant has undergone changes recently. We recently brought four friends with us and they all enjoyed it as well so we aren 't crazy! As others have said this is a proper sit down restaurant. Not sure where the 'street food ' aspect comes in I will admit I can 't speak to the authenticity of the food, but we regularly eat Indian and we think it 's good. Only thing we were unhappy with was the Aloo Paneer which was very bland. Portions can vary but overall decent value. Service can be tricky too. Have had the same waiter be very inattentive and slow one day, and then a pleasure the next time we were there."

"The place is pretty good and for it being a takeaway in a rural area it is appreciated but I'm a tad concerned about how they cook the food, reheating in the microwave and all, I feel like it really makes not worth the price and it'd probably be easier to cook it yourself and probably safer, I would recommend this place for like a quick dinner maybe once every few months but overall not really worth the price TLDR; good for maybe a quick meal but not worth the price"
