"It's not a very high maintenance restaurant. It pretty much looks like a family business. But it's the hospitality and home cooked food feeling that drives me and my wife to this restaurant.as mentioned in my previous review, I said I will here to try main course and so was I. We went on a Sunday morning around 11 or 12 .we ordered for bhalla papri and then ordered for a mooli paratha thali and my wife ordered for paneer dosa. Sambar along with dosa was so delicious and less on spices as we had asked for it. Paratha was so home tasting one. Love it. We drank mango lassi too, but not so good honestly, was good according to the restaurant standards but we were expecting the traditional flavour and not the restaurant flavour. Then inspired by the brunch we had we decided we will get stuff packed for our dinner too as we live in red deer. We got palak paneer and kadi pakoda and 2 samosa's to go. My wife liked the sweets and we did get one or two pieces of everything packed. When everything was paid for we forgot to pay for 2 samosa's to which aunty(I guess the owner) said no worries, pay next time. That was such a sweet gesture. We will surely be there in 2 weeks again to eat and pay for our 2 samosas. I am so much in love with this place, me and my wife have decided,each time we visit Calgary, we will eat here only."

"Disgusting!This is from a couple who have eaten Indian food and loved it for many years.We paid $36 for a delivery of chicken tikka masala, chicken dhansak and two plain rice with one garlic naan.The food was delivered 30 mins after we ordered.The rice was at least a day old and pure mush.Tikka masala was so spicy hot it was inedible, the dhansak was mush, nasty and inedible. The garlic bread was ice cold.We actually had to put all the fiord in the trash. As, we did call to complain but we're told that since 1984 "I have only ever had 2 or 3 calls like you" end of conversation...No food, no money, no service!Avoid"

"My wife and I stopped in for the buffet lunch recently and were pleasantly surprised. I found the ambiance in the relatively small space to be great and the service was excellent. The food was very tasty and I found it to be very authentic to a recent trip to India. The beef curry and tandoori chicken on the buffet were spot on!"

"From the outside it doesn't look good...but food is so good...so fresh and tasty. Small place with only 3 tables. Mostly is take out, but you can eat in as well. Friendly guys."

"I've driven past this place at least 50 or 60 times on my way to Pacific Place and managed to get some take out before the lunch rush. There's lots of parking as it's in one of the business strip malls. The main attraction of this place is the lunch buffet. It had a small selection of food mostly chicken, (3 types that day), a couple of vegetarian dishes and salad and some fruit. Cost is around $11 which is pretty reasonable for a buffet. The menu for take-out is a bit confusing so I asked the lady what there was and she pointed me to the menu that I couldn't really understand. I ended up with Chicken Biriyani which she told me had 3 pieces of chicken and rice. The cost was $6.29. That sounded really cheap to me except that the 3 pieces of chicken basically consisted of the tops of 3 small drumsticks and the rest of the container was biriyani rice. The flavour was decent but you are really paying a lot for rice. There wasn't enough chicken to go with the rice and you got a small container of raita which I didn't care for. The food was okay but I question the amount of chicken that was given. I might go back to try the all-you-can eat buffet ($10.99) just to taste the rest of the dishes (4 meat and 4 vegetarian dishes, mostly chicken for the meat) but I would give this a miss for take-out."
