"Indian restaurant I recommend even if I have some negative points. Indeed the room is small and we are tight when we have a table of two. it lacks ventilation because the frying can irritate the eyes. against the meal is really delicious we loved this culinary trip for a few hours."

"Not a great experience. The waitress had a bad cold when we were at Rajput and was sniffing very liquidly all the time she took our order which was distinctly unpleasant. It was also difficult to decide what language we should be using to get ourselves understood. We tried French first, unsurprisingly as the restaurant is in Nimes, but we did not seem to be getting anywhere. The waitress suggested we spoke in English, but this did not seem to improve matters.Now to the meal... The breads, which we specifically ordered with the main courses, arrived before the starters. My wife's main course arrived with the starters even though we had (we thought) made it very clear that she had ordered a tandoori as a main course. The starters were accompanied by a tatty, dehydrated piece of lettuce and were cold. The main courses were a curry, a madras and a vindaloo, but it would not be possible to tell by sight which was which as they all used an identical-looking sauce. None were particularly spicy despite the vindaloo being ordered as extra-spicy. I realise the French do not do 'hot' food, but this was pretty bland.To make things worse, the waitress insisted on coming over, waving a menu around, telling us how we hadn't ordered properly while we were trying to eat the food we had been given. Rule number one - don't argue with your customers!I suppose the lesson is: if you want a good meal in France, go to a French restaurant. The only reason I haven't rated this restaurant 'horrible' is because the waitress belatedly tried to apologise for the totally random service."
