"Great atmosphere, attentive staff, and flavorful food make this a must-go place, though be aware of the crowd and the potential sticker shock. Highlights: The house-made avocado salsa is top-notch. Service is fast and done with a smile. And the guava-glazed pork belly Tacos al Carbon rico style (covered in cheese in tomato may be my favorite Mex Tex-Mex dish in the state. And I love sitting at the festive and friendly bar and picking out one of their many fantastic anejo tequilas (Tres Generaciones was so smooth! . Come early to avoid a long wait, and be prepared for a big bill: $100 for myself and my 2 sons, and that was with one ordering from the kids menu. For us it's a special treat to visit, not a regular spot, given the better values around."

"We ordered takeout. The tandoori chicken was good. The hot is really hot. I would probably go with mild next time. I was expecting the heat level to be off like some other Indian restaurants so I ordered hot expecting mild. My fault on that one. My husband got the chicken tikka masala. He liked that dish as well. We will return when in that area of Charlotte."

"We Door dash from Portafino's a lot and are never disappointed! On 2/10, we ordered lasagna, and Portabella/spinach ravioli with scallops. It is HARD to cook scallops to perfection, but these absolutely melted in my mouth! And the pink cream sauce is to die for! Belissimo, Poetafino's! Ciao!"
