"First I will refer them to my august 12, 2019 review of this same restaurant. I have been there several times since this last review, but the feeling that the experience of the last night there demands my additional comments. we had an unwanted waiter yesterday. he was often rude and restless, but had some moments to be polite. everyone on the table (7 of us) noticed his behavior. I will not go to all the specialties, but will begin with the first snippy answer he was made when my wife asked if she had her lobster ravioli (they were out of her last time we were there.) he reacted that it was on the menu and his ton speech was in worse position. my wife then mentioned that they were out of her last time we were there and this waiter replied with some commentary about dinge, which did not constant in the university his ton again spoke volume. almost everyone on our table had a similar kind of rude attitude experience with him. He said at a point that he had done this for 30 years. I suppose he said he was a waiter for 30 years. I can only imagine that he must have worked at least 30 restaurants this time because I don't see a restaurant that keeps him on the staff over a year. Porters remains one of my favorite restaurants in medford, and as soon as I think enough time has gone for this waiter to have moved on, I will return. the rest of the staff was very professional and polite. the food was excellent. the kitchen staff of porters has never disappointed. I suspect that anyone who works on porters and reads that will know who I am referring to. I cannot imagine that I am the first person to refer to the behavior of the waiter. my final comment is the automatic addition of the gratuity that is common for groups of our size in restaurants. I would certainly not have given this waiter 20%, and I am a very nice tipper. I think a smaller (10% or 15 basic automatic tip would be better suited to allow me to add extra tip if justified. again thanks to and nice work on all the workers in porters, except the waiter we had. Note that this is not a negative assessment of porter, only from a certain waiter they use."

"Our table was small and the area quiet. Just what we wanted. The service was attentive and friendly. Food was very good although my steelhead was a bit dry and lentils a little crispy. Dessert was excellent-lemon marionberry tart and because it was my friend's birthday, it was on the house."

"I've been going to the victorious pizza since I was 20 years old. Never had anything wrong with my food always delicious. Now even better than new cook is great. Nelson and his family are also great people that we always feel at home when we go there. Let me tell you something, I'm originally from Brooklyn and I know what good pizza is!! This is the best pizza in Suffolk!!! Try this pizzeria you will not regret it!"

"I had the Scallop scallopini, but the Chicken Marsala and Salmon Piccata sounded amazing! Vanessa made excellent recommendations, but reservations on weekends: we personally heard them turn off 15 people. The mixed drinks are super fun (better than the local wine I also tried), but we can not wait to bring back friends in autumn winter to try more. LOL I have tons of food allergies, so the salad was bland, but safe. My duck was really good! You need dessert (flourless chocolate cake sorbet) got gluten-free vegan people. Vanessa was the best server with the sweetest earrings of all time."
