"The staff were so kind and helpful but we did have a few things that we thought worth mentioning We had children with us, their dishes came at different times, I think the waitress should have communicated with the chef for these to be served together. And also puddings The two adult puddings (creme brulee and Eton mess) came before the kids ice-cream, Think that should have been the other way round. All in all the venue is gorgeous, the staff were lovely and it was a very enjoyable experience. We will definitely go back."

"I've been going to mayfair pizza for 4 years and working around the corner. friendly and friendly staff, lots of light, big place (it was earlier a footwear at some point in the victorian times,) very good pizzas and delicious salads (my favorite is the superfood with rare thun fish.)"

"My tea cup was cracked, the food was placed down with absolutely no explanation, we had no clue what was in the sandwiches or what the cakes were. Staff never spoke, regents street shop was tired I think perhaps the staff were too. Overall disappointing."

"I went here for my 20th Birthday, booked a table of 8 for afternoon tea. When I came the table wasn't ready and they never asked for my reservation name. Then the waitress gave us lunch menus after stating we'd be having afternoon tea. And as only 4 of us had arrived and the other 4 were parking the other car. The waitress asked if she could bring everything out now? I felt about rushed and the waitress had very poor attitude towards us. Table maintenance wasn't the best as everyone had finished their teas and it was on the table for 2 hours. I understand it got a bit busy but I could feel the stress from this waitress and it wasn't pleasent. The manager I don't remeber a name did look after us on the other hand and made sure we were okay. However for spending nearlly £200 and £20 service charge I wish I didn't bother. Sorry for this review, I can imagine it is probably an amazing place. But I was let down by my experience."

"Wayyy overpriced. charged 30 pounds for a fairly average and small part of the afternoon tee, and completely forget to bring me my drink. not to mention that the website said it costs £18... but they have calculated £30! absolutely ridiculous!"

"Had a great lunch at an outdoor table. The service was good and the food was excellent. In particular, the Gnocchi was fabulous with Tuscan sausage and fennel. If you are in the neighborhood or visit the Saatchi Gallery next door, this is definitely worth a stop."

"I have been going to Joe Allen for years and decided it would be a good venue for a farewell dinner for my two eldest sons who are embarking on a two month tour of Asia, starting today. The food as always was very good burgers ribs etc but all just what you want. But I have to say what really makes Joe Allen stand out is the service which was wonderful... attentive and friendly without being overly familiar or annoying. It is so important to get it right and it was just perfect! Thank you to everyone there on Sunday 4th Feb!"

"Fantastic afternoon, very helpful, happy staff. we wanted to get the afternoon for 3 and not over fee to get more money out of us, they explained that afternoon tee for 2 would be much and it was! they just gave a tee in the order. the sandwiches were delicious and fresh, the scones were delicious and the cakes were beautiful"
